Today is my birthday. At the time, my wife had prior arrangements to go to babies R us with a friend and after I dropped her off at her friend’s house I started driving back to the main road when I quickly passed a bicycle that was sitting on someone’s lawn with a “FREE” sign on it. I flipped around and inspected to make sure it was real. It was. I noticed it was in slightly tattered condition, it looked like a girl’s frame, and I thought it looked a little small for me, so I didn’t pursue it further. I also didn’t think I could get it into the car with causeing harm to the car. So I moved on, but felt some resistance in that moment, so I talked to myself saying that perhaps someone else who needs it more than me will take it.What’s interesting is that later on, after puchasing a book that a friend of mine recommended about a year ago, “Ask and you shall receive”, when I hit chapter 4 it hit me that despite our constant ability to create, once we align our vibration with the energy that matches our creation, we will receive that which we have asked for. I realized that ever since my bike was stolen from my garage, and I put forth my thoughts towards creating a new bike, I finally got into alignment in the right way such that a synchronicity occured where I can get a new (used) bike. Even though in retrospect I wish I picked it up because I could have cleaned it (and the car), and fixed it for minimal expense, I still felt good that I created what I wanted and more importantly, received it!
