It’s amazing how taking some time to give appreciation and love to everything around you has REAL physical effects… Let me give an example.

About 9 months after driving our new used truck, it started having difficulties starting up. What I had to do almost every time was lift the hood, close the hood and somehow it would start, or maybe not and in that case maybe after 5-10 minutes of trying the same trick, it would then work.

So what I did next was I decided to try a more spiritual approach. I spent some time connecting with the truck… Personally thanking all of the metal, fluids, rubber, etc. for serving me so well. I gave it my acknowledgement that it’s current form was not manifested out of it’s own choosing - that it’s in an unnatural state, yet I thanked it for it’s service to me. I thanked the fuel the oil. I gave it my heart. Well, interestingly, after doing this, I no longer had any problems starting the thing up. No more. It works just about perfectly, except for the air-bag light that’s on. I think I’ll have to take it in for that, but I’ll first make some time to see if I can do anything on the spiritual plane to help before I go the traditional route.

On a side note, this technique reminds me of a story I heard about on Future Talk Radio about a Jennifer Hawthorne’s Book, The Soul of Success, where she talked about a few people who had cancer and after trying everything, in their despondent position decided to completely love themselves, their cancer, and ask Spirit for the lesson that was embedded in the disease. After they went to sleep that evening - the doctor’s went crazy over the miraculous healing that occured thereafter. Check out the book. It sounds pretty good, I plan to get a copy for my wife.
